B.2 Making Your First Call

Test your T1 Telephone’s setup by making a phone call to someone. Put on
your headset and make sure it’s connected properly as illustrated in the
previous section. Please make sure you wait 10 seconds after you plug in
your telephone before making your first call.

B.1 Before Making a Call

You will need to make a call to ensure your setup in the previous section is
correct. However, before you proceed to turn on the device, make sure
the two volume control wheels are not selected to the extreme, as high
speaker volume may damage your ear and the unit, and high microphone
volume will cause loud “squealing” feedback-noise.

Press the (1) Online/Offline Button
to turn on the device and get a line.

You should be able to hear a dial-tone
and the (2) LED-Status Indicator
should light up BLUE.

Press the Online/Offline Button again
to end your call.
