Operation
1a. Using the charger in a mains power outlet:
The charger is constructed for worldwide use. Before use, please fit the right primary adaptor into the charger (see drawing
1. Please pay attention that the adaptor plug clicks audibly into the housing. To release the adaptor please push the release
button (2) marked with “PRESS”
1b. Using the charger in a vehicle:
Connect the DC output plug of the 12V car cigarette lighter adaptor (3) to the DC input socket of the charger (4). Connect
the input plug of the DC adaptor (5) to the vehicle cigarette lighter socket (12V DC). Ensure that the supply to the cigarette
lighter socket is on. Some cars require the ignition to be switched on.
2. Charging: The charging starts as soon as 1 or more rechargeable batteries are inserted into the charging slots.
For perfect performance we recommend to insert the rechargeable batteries beginning from charging slot 1.
It is quite normal that the rechargeable cells may become warm during charging. The cells do not have to be inserted
simultaneously as the charging processes are independent from each other. When charging is finished, the cells are provided
with “Top-off” Charge and trickle charging, so that the cells can remain in the charger until ready for use.

envirOnMent:

Rechargeable batteries are not to be disposed of in domestic waste. Used batteries should be turned into a battery recycling
collection depot. Check with your local municipal office.

Maintenance and cleaning:

To clean the charger, disconnect it from the power adaptor. To ensure correct function of the charger keep the charging
contacts free from dust and dirt. Please only use a dry cloth.
