1997-04 C5 Corvette Dual Cone Cold Air Kit

Installation Instructions (Read Carefully Before Starting Project)

Thank you for your purchase of the Granatelli Motor Sports Corvette Dual Cone Induction System.
Extensive testing has been preformed on these systems and we feel you cannot get a better part in
terms of dyno performance results and quality of workmanship when it comes to an enclosed system.

Tool Requirements: 7mm & 10mm Socket, ¼ drive ratchet or equivalent, slotted screwdriver or 5/16
nut driver.

1. Remove the factory air intake box assembly.

a.

Begin by loosening the hose clamp attached at the throttle body and unclip the air filter
retaining straps on the factory airbox.

b.

Carefully unplug the restrictive factory Mass Airflow Sensor, air intake temperature
sensor (1997-2000 only) and the plastic fuel pressure regulator hose attached to the
throttle body bellows (accordion looking tube).

c.

Pull out the 5/8” air pump hose from the side of the factory air box.

d.

Gently pull out the entire factory air intake assembly and remove.

Installing new assembly in same place as factory unit was mounted.

2. For best result build you new Granatelli Dual Filter Cold Air Induction System off the car and them

install as one unit.

3. Starting from the Granatelli Air Bridge, attach the new Granatelli supplied sleeve to the throttle

body side of the bridge and then install the recommended Granatelli Mass Airflow Sensor
(350112 for 1997-2000 or 350119 for 2001-2004) or the stock restrictive meter into the Opposite
side. Note: 1997-2000 Mass Airflow sensor slips into the airbox and on 2001 and up, use
supplied sleeve and clamp to connect. Tighten clamps and reconnect fuel regulator hose. Note:
Does not apply to 2000 and up vehicles.

4. Install Y shaped piece to Mass Airflow Sensor with supplied sleeve and install air filters on both 4”

inlets. Again tight all clamps. You should now have a complete System ready to install as a unit.

5. Place finished unit into compartment and tight sleeve that goes to throttle body. Part is held into

place by throttle body.

6. Large hose pushes onto nipple on side of why for smog pump.
7. Start Engine and check all connections.
