The

CO RAL

is calibrated prior to shipment. However, if there is access to a source of CO gas, such as a

calibration kit, expose the sensor to the gas, and observe that the instrument is responsive.

1.2.2 Acknowledge Alarm

If the concentration of CO is greater than 10 ppm, the instrument indicates an alarm condition. Acknowledge the alarm by
pressing and releasing the right hand pushbutton,

SELECT

; this silences the audio alarm for four minutes unless the

concentration of the CO is greater than the upper alarm limit.

1.2.3 Remove Gas

Remove the source of the CO. Attach to compressed air line, after the display reads zero or close to it, turn the instrument OFF,
by pressing and holding the

POWER / BACKLIGHT

pushbutton for approximately three seconds. The display flashes "OFF"

and then goes blank after the pushbutton is released.
