BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the battery becomes
weak, the "V" symbol is
displayed to warn the user
that the battery needs to
be replaced soon.
Battery replacement must only take place in
a safe area and using a 9V alkaline battery.
Remove the battery compartment cover on
the rear of the meter and replace the battery
with a new one. Make sure the battery con-
tacts are tight before reattaching the cover.

CALIBRATION
All HANNA instruments ® thermometers have
been accurately pre-calibrated at the factory.
It is generally recommended to have all ther-
mometers recalibrated at least once a year.
For an accurate annual recalibration, contact
the nearest HANNA Service Center.
