7. Adding Fuel / Heating at
Nominal Thermal Output
More fuel should be added to the fi re when the
fl ames from the previous burning off phase have just
gone out.

Adjust secondary air. Set air slider to position
2 (fi g. 4).
Add two logs weighing
approx. 1.9 kg in total.
Place logs with the end to
the front of fi re box. Only
add a single layer of fuel. Open fi re box door.
Close fi re box door.

8. Emptying the Ash Drawer
As a safety precaution, please make sure that you
only dispose of ashes once they are cold.
The ash drawer contains the mineral components
of the wood (approx. 1%) as combustion residues.
Lift the fi re grate and tilt it towards the back (fi g. 5).
The furnace ash dump can then be removed (fi g. 6).
