The In-Line Filter fits in the drain line from an Air Conditioner
to its Condensate Pump, and should be used wherever dirt
particles, construction debris, hairs or greasy deposits can
be washed from the drain tray down into the pump.
Easy to fit between the drain tube and the pump’s water
collector, it is supplied with fittings and ties to ensure
watertight connections. Fit using the rubber adaptors
between the drain tube and the condensate pump inlet. Use
the “Ty-raps” around the joints to ensure water-tight
connections, if necessary in conjunction with a suitable
sealant.
Regular inspection during routine servicing will show when it
should be changed – filter life depends on the amount and
type of contaminants being washed down the drain tube from
the air conditioner.
