Aline™

1) insert Aline into the eyepiece drawtube

and point telescope at sky. Looking into
your Aline, yhou'll see a bright white
disk with a black dot in the middle. The
black dot is the hole through which
you're looking and is the center of your
telescopes optical axis.

2) Adjust the vanes and move the diagonal

along the axis of the telescope tube until
the mirror surface of the diagonal mirror
is in the center of the drawtube.

3) Adjust the tilt of the diagonal mirror

until the image of the primary mirror is
centered in the diagonal mirror.

4) Adjust the tilt of the pirmary mirror until

the black dot is centered in the image of
the diagonal and in the image of the
priamry mirror.

5) If you have a paint dot in the center of

the primary, adjust the tilt of the primary
until the paint dot moves across the
bright background provided by Aline to
the black dot.
