Replace the spray tip and rotate clockwise to secure.

to clEan thE paint rollEr:

Lift and remove the paint roller from the paint roller

assembly.

Pull the roller caps off the paint roller and clean using

warm water.

Slide the clamps towards each end of the manifold and

take apart the paint roller assembly as shown.

Clean all parts in cleaning solution determined by the last

type of paint or stain used.

REPLAcING ATOMIzER vALvE ASSEMbLy IN
thE SpraYEr

See Figure 21, page 17.
The atomizer valve causes the paint or stain material to spin
as it comes out of the sprayer. After 7 to 10 gallons of paint
or stain, the atomizer valve may no longer produce a good
spray pattern and may need to be replaced.

MAINTENANcE

To replace:

Remove the battery pack from the backpack unit.

Rotate the spray tip counterclockwise and remove.

Remove the atomizer valve assembly and discard.

Install the new atomizer valve assembly.

Replace the spray tip and rotate clockwise to secure.

WARNING:

Upon removal, cover the battery pack’s terminals with
heavy-duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery pack or remove any of its compo-
nents. Lithium-ion and nickel-cadmium batteries must
be recycled or disposed of properly. Also, never touch
both terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as
short circuit may result. Keep away from children. Failure
to comply with these warnings could result in fire and/
or serious injury.
