Place the engine switch in the
ON ( l )
position.

Carefully pour fuel into the tank. Avoid spillage. Immediately replace
fuel cap and hand tighten. Wipe up any fuel spillage.
PRIME
press the PRIMER BULB 10 times slowly.
SET
START lever to " START " position.
Stand beside the trimmer and place your right hand on the
handlebar and your foot on the frame as shown. Using your left hand,
PULL
the starter grip and rope until the engine runs.

GAS
Move to the rear of the machine and squeeze throttle lever to run.

Set the START lever back to the RUN position.
NOTE: If the engine dies, set the START lever to the RUN position
and pull the starter grip and rope until the engine starts.

First time use only: Pour entire contents of ONE engine lubricant bottle into oil fill hole
using the funnel provided.

Cold Engine:

To Stop:
Move the START lever to the START position and then immediately back to the RUN position.
Pull the starter grip and rope until the engine starts.
NOTE: This will set the carburetor to a fast idle setting for easier starting.

Place the engine switch in the
OFF ( O )
position.
