Operating Instructions

SOL FL 13007 Solar Path Light

PLACEMENT OF THE SOLAR PATH LIGHT
1. For best results the solar path light should be placed in a location where it receives maximum

sunlight and is not covered or in the shade

2. Make sure the light is not subject to interference from other light sources. Otherwise, the lamp

will not light up at dusk.

3. For optimal operation the solar path light must be charged in sunny weather for a period of at

least 2 – 3 days.

4. When looking for a suitable location, make sure the horizontal detection range of the motion

detector is approx. 90º within a range of approx. 5 metres.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION OF THE SOLAR PATH LIGHT
Carefully remove the solar path light and all other parts from the carton.
1. Remove the socket

from the column and remove the ground spike

2. Find a suitable location for the light and make sure the motion detector points in the desired

direction.

3. Attach the ground spike to the underside of the lamp. Install the lamp by pushing the ground

spike into the soil.

By using the plastic socket

the light can also be mounted directly to a concrete or wooden

surface. Attach the lamp socket using the screws (included), then attach the lamppost.

ACTIVATION
1. Remove the lamp head

from the column and set the AUTO / OFF switch

to AUTO. When the

switch is in AUTO mode the light will operate continuously after dark.

2. The light features 1 standby LED. An additional 12 LEDs switch on if the motion detector is

triggered.

3. When the switch is in the OFF position the lamp does not light up, although the battery will

continue to charge during the day.
