under curtains or low wall-cupboards.

11. You should never leave the appliance

unattended during use.

12. This appliance is not intended for use

by person (including children) with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or

lack of experience and knowledge, unless

they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance

by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance. It

is not advised for children under 14 to use

this appliance.

13. Use the kettle only with the base unit

supplied, and do not use the base unit for

any other purposes.

14. Never remove the kettle from its base

unit while in operation. Switch the

appliance off first.

15. Take care to close the lid properly

before switching on. Otherwise, the

appliance will not switch off automatically

and hot water may overflow.

16. The kettle is for heating water only

and is not to be used for any other liquids.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

1.

Remove all packing materials from

the kettle.

2.

Before connecting of the kettle

check that voltage, indicated on the

rating label, corresponds to the mains

voltage in your home.

3.

Fill the kettle with cool water up to

the “MAX” mark and boil it. Empty the

kettle. The appliance is ready for use.

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

FILTER PLACING

1. Open the lid by pressing on the lid

release button.

2. Place the filter between the two

grooves near the spout at the front of

the kettle.

3. Ensure that the filter is pressed

down to the bottom of the grooves and

fits correctly then close the lid.

NOTE: Never leave the filter loose in

the kettle. Never remove the filter while

the kettle contains hot water.

FILLING

1.

Remove the kettle from the base

unit.

2.

You can fill the kettle with water via

the spout or by opening the lid, by

pressing on the lid release button.

3.

Not recommend to fill with less

than 1liter of water to prevent the

kettle running fry while operating.

4.

Do not fill with more than 1.5 liters

of water (up to “MAX” mark). Avoid

overfilling to prevent the water spilling

out during the boiling process.

SWITCHING ON

1.

After filling your kettle with water,

place the kettle on the base unit.

2.

Connect plug to power supply and

pull down the On/Off switch. The

appliance will begin to operate and the

indicator light will come on.

SWITCHING OFF

When the water boils, the kettle will

switch off automatically and the

indicator light will go off.

NOTE: This appliance has a safety

system, which automatically switches

off the heater element if the appliance

is inadvertently switched when empty,

or if it boils dry. In this case, let the

appliance cool down completely, before

filling with water again.

SWITCHING ON AGAIN

The kettle can be switched on again

after cooling down about 15-20

seconds, while the kettle has been

switched off automatically.

CARE AND CLEANING

1.

Always remove the plug from the

power supply and let the appliance cool

down completely.

2.

Clean the outside of the kettle and

the base unit with a soft damp cloth.

then wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use

scouring

Descale at regular intervals. Use a

descaling agent, which can be obtained

from specialist shops and follow the

instructions given.

FILTER CLEANING

1.

Remove the filter out of the kettle.

2.

Place under a tap and rub gently

any remaining by soft brush (do not

included).

Replace the filter between the two

grooves near the spout at the front of

the kettle.

STORAGE

The cord could be winded into the base

unit that has a cord storage

compartment.
