COOKING PLATE

Dear Buyer! We congratulate you on

having bought the device under

trade name “Saturn”. We are sure

that our devices will become faithful

and reliable assistance in your

housekeeping.

Avoid extreme temperature

changes. Rapid temperature change

(e.g. when the unit is moved from

freezing temperature to a warm

room) may cause condensation

inside the unit and a malfunction

when it is switched on. In this case

leave the unit at room temperature

for at least 1.5 hours before

switching it on.

If the unit has been in transit, leave

it indoors for at least 1.5 hours

before starting operation.

PREPARATION FOR USE

Read these instructions attentively

before using your cooking plate. First

check that the voltage marked on the

product corresponds with your supply

voltage. And the wall outlet is properly

grounded.

HOW TO USE

Select a suitable position close to an

electric socket (refer to section “Safety

in Use”).

Having suitably positioned the

appliance, ensure the controls are in the

"0" position.

When using the cooking plate for the

first time, the invisible protective

coating may still not be removed. It

may or may not have some smoke, but

it is normal reaction.

Ensure there are no foreign articles

such as water or food on the heating

element before switch on.

The cooking plates are now ready for

use.

HINTS & TIPS

Always use flat-bottomed

saucepans/containers which make good

contact with the cooking plates. The

saucepan/containers bases should

ideally be of a similar size to the

cooking plates.

The cooking plates have a range of

temperatures. Use the lower heat

settings ("0" to "3") for simmering and

gentle beating and the high settings

("4" to MAX) for boiling.

Due to the cooking plates

construction, a certain amount of

residual heat will remain after switching

off. This may be used to keep some

foods warm for a short period (e.g. to

dry off rice or potatoes).
