About this Manual
Overview of Contents
This manual is intended for users who install and configure MVME721X RTM. It is assumed that
the user is familiar with the standard cabling procedures, installation and removal procedures
of MVME721X RTM. The user must be a professional engineer in the server device field, who has
been trained and is able to identify danger levels when operating the device.
This manual is divided into the following chapters and appendices.
 Introduction describes the main features of the RTM.
 Hardware Preparation and Installation details the installation prerequisites and the
installation itself.
 Controls, LEDs, and Connectors describes external interfaces such as connectors and LEDs.
 Related Documentation lists further Artesyn user manuals for other products that use the
RTM, such as MVME7100, MVME2500, iVME7210, and MVME4100.
