NOTE: The keyboard cable is marked with the word "TOP" to

help you connect it to the printer.

4. Connect the power cord to the socket as shown. Plug the

other end of the cord into a

grounded 110VAC electrical

outlet.

Printing Test Tags and Labels

You can print test tags or labels to see if your printer is working
properly. Your printer should arrive with a strip of blank supply
loaded for you (if this supply has been used or discarded, refer
to your

Equipment Manual for instructions on loading supplies).

To print a test tag or label, perform the following procedure:

1. To turn the printer On, press the top of the power switch

On the back of the printer.

2. You’ll see a copyright message, then

Calibrating...

as the printer checks the supply. You’ll see another
message as the printer loads formats. Then you’ll see
