U S I N G T H E C A B L E C O V E R K I T
You use the cable cover with the industrial version of the Renegade® 4
9490™ printer. The cover holds the cable in place. You can use the cable
cover with or without the printer’s boot.
K i t C o n t e n t s
The kit comes with:
♦ the cable.
♦ the cable cover.
♦ two blind nuts used to hold the screws in place.
♦ two spacers and two long screws used when mounting the cover over the
printer’s boot.
♦ two short screws used to hold the cable in place without the printer’s
boot.
B e f o r e Y o u B e g i n
If your printer does not already have an industrial 9-pin pigtail cable, return
the printer to the factory to have the cable cover installed. See “Returning
Your Printer” for more information.
Otherwise, you can install the cable cover yourself, as described in these
instructions.
