INSTALLATION GUIDE

Model FLX60 Flexible Feed Cable

(For use with Besa low voltage lighting systems only)

Power Supply Canopy

1. Using a Hex Wrench, loosen two set screws on the

sides of the Rail Adapter located on the underside

of the Power Supply Canopy

2. Carefully remove the Rail Adapter from the Power

Supply Canopy, exposing the two Feed Posts.

A) Remove the Rail Adapter:

1. Using a Hex Wrench, loosen the set screws on the

sides of the Flexible Feed Adapter, then

install the Flexible Feed Cable and tighten.

2. Shorten the Flexible Feed Cable to the desired length.

3. Insert the Flexible Feed Cable into the Rail Adapter

and the Flexible Feed Adapter onto the Feed Posts.

B) Install Flexible Feed Cable:

1. Using a Hex Wrench, secure the Flexible Feed

Adapter to the Power Supply Canopy.

2. Using a Hex Wrench, secure the Rail Adapter to

the Flexible Power Feed.

C) Secure Flexible Feed Cable:

1. Loosen Set Screw on the Rail Adapter of the Canopy.

2. Raise the Monorail into the Rail Adapter, then

tighten Set Screw.

3. Turn on power to system.

D) Installation of Monorail:

NOTE:

Operate system for 5 minutes, then verify that

the connections are running cool to the touch.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

A) Read all instructions.

B) Do not conceal or extend exposed conductors through a building wall.

C) Do not install this system in wet locations.

D) For low voltage exposed insulated conductor systems required by 30.1(c) do not install

any part of this system less than 7 feet (2.2m) above the floor.

E) To reduce the risk of fire and burns, do not install this lighting system where the exposed

bare conductors can be shorted or contact any conductive materials.

F) To reduce the risk of fire and overheating, make sure all connections are tight.

G) Do not install any luminaire closer than 6 inches (15.25 cm) from any curtain, or similar combustable materials.

H) Turn off electrical power before modifying the lighting system in any way.
