1. getting to know your instrument
This travel hair dryer is suitable for professio-
nally styling your hair.
The device allows you to dry your hair quickly
and gently.
The device handle can be folded to save space
in your luggage when travelling.
The travel hair dryer can be adapted to the
mains voltage (100-120 V or 220-240 V).
The device is only intended for the purpose
described in these instructions for use.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resul-
ting from improper or careless use.
2. Signs and symbols
The following symbols appear in these instructions for use.
Danger This device must not be used near to water or in water (e.g. in a
wash basin, or in the shower or bath) – danger of electric
shock!
Warning Warning instruction indicating a risk of injury or damage to
health.
Important Safety note indicating possible damage to the unit/accessory.
note Important information to be noted.
3. Intended use
The travel hair dryer must only be used by indi-
viduals for drying hair and is for private use only!
Warning
The device is:
• for external use only
• only to be used for the purpose for which it is
designed and in the manner specified in these
instructions for use.
Any improper use can be dangerous.
The device carries the CE labelling and cor-
responds to the following Eu Directives:
• 2006/95/EC Low Voltage Directive
• 2004/108/EC EMC Directive
• When using the device in the bathroom, unplug the plug after
use as water in the vicinity constitutes a danger, even when the
device is switched off.
