Introduction


Congratulations on your purchase of the Burst
Electronics model HDA4 or HDSR digital video
distribution amplifier. We hope that this manual will
cover any questions you may
have concerning the
operation of this product.

The HDA4 accepts an SD/
SDI or HD/SDI signal and
distributes the signal to four
outputs. The HDSR is a two
output version designed to
be placed inline with long
cable runs. The unit is
operated from an included
5Vdc power supply.

Product Description


The HDA4 and HDSR are HD/SD SDI reclocking
distribution amplifiers capable of driving SDI video
down 300 feet of quality video cable (RG6/U). The
input is equalized. The outputs can be selected to
bypass or reclock the incoming video signal.

Hardware


This section of the manual will explain the functions of
the front panel switches and indicators.

Reclock On/Off

- When ON, the unit will reclock

the outputs. When OFF, reclocking is bypassed.
