Hardware Installation
Floppy Disk Drive Connector
The 34-pin connector is used to connect a standard floppy disk
drive. The connector on the floppy cable can be inserted into the
floppy connector only if pin 1 of the cable is aligned with pin 1 of
the floppy connector.
Connecting the Floppy Disk Drive Cable
Inser t one end of the floppy disk drive cable into the floppy
connector on the system board and the other end-most connector
to the floppy drive. The colored edge of the cable must align with
pin 1 of the connector.
BIOS Setting
Enable or disable this function in the Integrated Peripherals submenu
(“Super I/O Device” field) of the BIOS. Refer to chapter 3 for more
information.
