PROTECTION KIT ASSEMBLY (if applicable)

The

36-COPK

protection kit comes fully-assembled and is

ready to install. All other protection kits require the following
assembly:

1. Orient and align the 5 holes on each panel as shown

in Fig. 2-1. Using a Philips screwdriver and an

/

"

wrench, fasten the panels together with the supplied
bolts, lock washers, and nuts.

INSTALLATION

All additional installation requirements, safety
guidelines, and any other requirements found in your
grill owner's manual MUST BE FOLLOWED.

Note: Fully covering the area above the protection kit is

recommended to prevent any water build-up from
rain.

1. Ensure the protection kit is centered over the grill (from

left to right) and the rear of the protection kit is resting
against the rear wall (see Fig. 2-2). Mark your overhead
construction as needed.

2. Using proper mounting hardware (not included), secure

the protection kit into the overhead construction.

Important: If any combustible material is used to support

and/or cover the protection kit, there must
be a 6' clearance between the combustible
construction and the countertop. See the
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS section on
the front of this instruction.
