Ikan’s new person to person interview system is a concept that is all about eye contact. When using the ikan P2P
system, the interviewer and the interviewee are able to look directly into the camera lens while still seeing and
looking directly at an image of each other. This equates to a natural one-on-one interview style which is also,
because of the direct eye contact, much more involving for the audience. When the interviewer asks a question, he
or she is looking right into the eyes of the viewer. When the interviewee answers the question, he or she is also
looking directly into the eyes of the audience and in essence giving his or her answers to them. No longer is the
audience sitting off to the side and observing the interview; they become a part of the interview.

The ikan P2P system set-up is quite simple. You are feeding the video signal from one camera (the interviewer’s
camera for example) into the P2P teleprompter video input that is set-up with the interviewee’s camera. The
interviewee then sees the face of the interviewer reflected onto the teleprompter glass which is in front of the
cameras lens. The interviewee is then essentially conversing directly with the interviewer and also directly with
the audience. The interviewee’s image is also sent to the interviewer’s P2P teleprompter set-up so they have a
direct view of the interviewee while looking straight into the second camera (see diagram below). P2P interviewing
is simple, effective and is a popular and growing style which will give your interviews a new and appealing look.

The ikan P2P system can easily be set-up and used within any small studio or, with the appropriate video and
audio feeds, between two studios located in different parts of town, cities, countries, etc.

The ikan P2P system comes complete with all necessary video cabling for typical studio set-ups. Audio cabling is
not included and must be supplied by user.
