Instructions for Use
Description:
Telio CS Desensitizer is a material for reducing and pre-
venting dentinal hypersensitivity and postoperative sensi-
tivity. The material has been developed from the Syntac
dentin adhesive system. Telio CS Desensitizer is suitable for
the following fields of application: temporary restorations,
luting/ cementation of indirect restorations, direct restora-
tive treatment and treatment of sensitive tooth necks. Telio
CS Desensitizer is a clear solution for application onto
dentin (enamel may also be coated).
Composition:
Telio CS Desensitizer contains polyethylene glycol
dimethacrylate and glutaraldehyde in an aqueous solution.
Indication:
For reducing and preventing dentinal hypersensitivity and
postoperative sensitivity in the following cases:
– Temporary restorations
– Luting / cementation of indirect restorations
– Direct restorative treatment
– Sensitive tooth necks
Contraindication:
– If a patient is known to be allergic or hypersensitive to
any of the material’s ingredients
– If the pain is caused by pulpitis or inflammation
Side effects:
In rare cases, ingredients of Telio CS Desensitizer may
cause a sensitizing reaction in patients with a hypersensi-
tivity to any of the material’s ingredients. In these cases,
the material should no longer be used.
Interactions:
Interaction with other materials (adhesives, cements, tem-
poraries, restoratives) applied to the tooth structure may
occur. These interactions may, for example, affect the bond
strength of adhesives or cements.
