1. Introduction

Congratulations on purchasing the Kanguru USB3.0 PCIe Card. The

Kanguru USB3.0 PCIe Card is a host adapter that will provide your

desktop with two USB3.0 ports. Once installed you will have access to

blazing fast USB3.0 SuperSpeed with transfer rates up to 5Gbps, 10x

faster than USB2.0.

3. Driver Installation

In order for Windows to communicate with the Kanguru USB3.0 PCIe

Card you will need to install the necessary device drivers.

1. Insert the Driver CD that came included into your computer.

2. Open the CD-ROM drive through Windows Explorer.

3. Open the folder labeled ‘PCIe’.

4. Double click on the ‘Setup.exe’ file. This will launch the install

wizard.

5. Follow the directions on the install wizard to install the necessary

device drivers.

When the install wizard has finished, click on the Finish button and restart

your system to complete the install.

2. Hardware Installation

1. Power off your computer.

2. Unplug the power cord and remove your computer’s cover. Make sure to

ground yourself by touching your computer’s metal frame.

3. Remove the slot cover from an available PCIe slot.

4. Carefully align the card’s bus connector with the PCIe slot on the

motherboard and then push the card into the slot firmly.

5. Connect a molex power cable from your computer’s internal power supply

to the 4-pin power connector on the PCIe card.

6. Secure the card to the slot bracket with a screw.

7. Replace the computer’s cover and reconnect the power cord.
