Kemppi ArcTimer

introduction

Kemppi ArcTimer is intended for measuring the arc time of

welding machines. The device is connected to the welding

or earthing cable where it measures the arc time based on

the welding current in the cable. The device display indicates

how long the arc has been on since the previous reset.

installation instructions

Follow these instructions to attach the device to the cable in

which the welding current is conveyed, such as the earthing

cable beside the machine.

Put the device against the cable so that the groove at the

back of the chassis is pressed against the cable. The cable

thickness may be 50 – 95 mm2.

Push the magnetic circuit piece in place over the device so

that the cable remains between the device and the magnetic

circuit piece.
You can secure the device to the cable by connecting the

front and rear parts with a lock as shown in the picture. (The

lock is not included in the delivery.)
