“Colorize”
If you press the “Colorize” button, a menu opens in which you can modify the pattern fur-
ther. Here you have the option of changing the color and the color values. This allows
you to customize the image to suit your needs.

The option to color in the pattern varies depending on whether you are working with
“Smart Edit3” or “Smart Edit4”.

“Colorize masks”
You can also select border masks in the pattern operator of the empty scenes. You can
color in the two-colored masks that are stored under “Masks” by selecting the “Colorize”
option in the “Select pattern” window. Next, set the “Colors” value to “2”. “Color 1” is used
to specify the color of the black area and “Color 3” the color of the white area. In some
cases, “Color 2” is also provided. This is assigned to the gray areas, for instance, in the
“Border 61” mask.
