Assembly Instructions for Stem
Caster Shimmey Damper
1. Unpack cartons to confirm amount and identity of components.
2. Slip the shimmey damper over the caster stem (curved part of shimmey damper facing up).
3. Seat the shimmey damper over the swivel plate and down onto the caster horn. Press down
firmly until the damper locks in place. When installed correctly, the top surface of the shimmey
damper should be flush with the top surface of the swivel plate. You should feel a slight
resistance while trying to rotate the caster stem.
4. Repeat steps 1 thru 3 for the other three casters.
