First, Unlock the Main Lock:

Allows access to all patient bins and storage drawers except narcotic drawers. If the Module has optional narcotic drawers,

continue to Narcotics Drawer instructions (below).

1. Unlock the cart’s main lock using a valid operator’s ID or using the override lock and metal key (back of the module).

Unlocking the Narcotic Drawer(s) using the Keypad:
1. Press the “CS” key.
2. Press keys to enter a valid four digit CS Code. Press “OK”.
3. The double-locked drawer(s) will unlock. Open the drawer(s) as required.
4. The drawers can also be unlocked using the override lock and appropriate metal “N” key – place the key in the

drawer lock and turn it clockwise.

Relocking the Drawer(s):
1. Close the drawer(s). Press the “CS” or “Sign Out” key.

Drawer Time-out and Automatic Relocking:
1. Keyless drawers relock automatically. When the pre-set time-out period elapses, a long tone will sound 5 times.

After the 5

th

tone, closed drawers will relock.

The drawer time-out is disabled while a drawer is in the open position

.

2. While the relock tone sounds, reset the time-out by pressing the “CS” key or opening a keyless drawer.

The drawer time-out period is adjustable - contact a System Manager

Changing or Adding a Personal PIN to the Assigned CS ID:
1. A System Manager assigns the four digit CS ID. If desired, a 1 to 4 digit “secret” PIN can be added by the assignee.
2. Unlock the cart, press the FUNCTION key until CHANGE CS PIN displays. Follow display instructions.
