Units

This kit, Part No. SX-FLR, contains
two (2) brackets that allow the unit to
be anchored to a floor surface. No
mounting screws are supplied in this
kit due to the different types of floor
construction. You or your installer
must purchase the appropriate
fasteners suitable for the floor
conditions. The floor brackets can
accommodate screws or fasteners up
to

1

/

" inch diameter. Follow the

fastener manufacturer instructions
during assembly.

1. Move the unit into the desired
location against the wall.

2. Remove the lower drawers or
shelves. Refer to the user manuals for
details.

3. Unit is shipped with the leveling
feet fully retracted.
The two rear
mounting feet must be extended 1

(32mm) before placing the unit in the
desired location. Extending the feet is
achieved by inserting a

/

" (6mm) flat

tipped screwdriver down into the holes
at the rear comers of the unit. Turning
the screwdriver clockwise will extend
the feet.

4. Slide the unit in place. On the floor,
mark the locations of the two rear
leveling feet. Move unit forward to
reveal marked feet locations.

5. Position floor brackets so the open
slot is facing forward and align with the
marked feet locations. See Fig 1. Verify
the center to center dimensions given in
Fig 1.

6. Match drill holes into floor using the
floor brackets as templates. Follow the
fastener manufacturer’s guidelines as to
drill size. Affix brackets to floor.

7. Slide unit back, aligning the feet with
the slots in the floor brackets, 1

(38mm). Slide unit back onto the floor
brackets, capturing the leveling feet
pads under the slots in the brackets
(Fig. 2). Lower unit by turning the rear
leveling screws counter-clockwise until
the base is about

3

/

4

" (19mm) off the

floor. Base frame must lock into the legs
on the bracket (Fig. 2).

8. Level the unit by using a

/

" (6mm)

flat tipped screwdriver and turning the
leveling screws clockwise to raise or
counter-clockwise to lower the unit
(Fig. 3).
NOTE:

Do not raise the rear of the unit

more the 1" (25mm) off floor. The front
can be raised up to 2" (50mm).

9. Four (4) hole plugs are supplied with
each unit. Install a plug into each
leveling access hole.

10. Replace all removed components.
