Once the initial settings have been completed, the player can
always be operated under the same conditions (especially DVDs).
The settings will be retained in the memory even after switching to
standby mode.

PAL: force PAL system output.
NTSC: force NTSC system output.
AUTO: automatically identify system.

NORMAL/PS: It displays the wide screen image
as full screen with left and right edges
automatically cut off.
NORMAL/LB: Select this mode when connecting to a conventional TV. When
playing back a wide screen-DVD disc, it displays the wide picture with black bands
at the top and bottom of screen.
WIDE: Select this mode when connecting to wide-screen TV. A wide screen picture
is displayed in full size.

ON: When playing back a DVD disc recorded with a multi-angle feature, an angle
indicator will display on the screen.
OFF: turns off the multi angle display indicator.

= This function only works for the discs recorded with the multi angle feature.

= This function may not operate on all discs.
= Press the AV/SETUP button to exit
setup menu after completion of
initial settings.
= The "6" mark

indicates that there are some items
that cannot be displayed on screen.
