Take a zip tie and go
underneath and slide
the zip tie through the
grommet on the under-
side of the canopy, then
through the grommet
and finally through the
underside of the grom-
met on the solar panel.
Repeat this process for
grommets on the
canopy and solar panel.

Once through, secure
the zip tie by running it
back through the small
opening on the other
end. Repeat this for all
grommets. When stor-
ing your solar panel,
carefully clip off zip ties
and remove your solar
panel from the canopy.

Make sure the plug on
the junction box of the
panel is well connected
to the 15” cord. There is
a tab on the plug that
should make a clicking
sound when securly
connected to the cord.
Plug the other end of
the cord into the port on
the motor with a plug
icon above it.

You may permanently
leave the panel con-
nected to your battery.
A blocking diode in the
junction box that blocks
reverse draining of cur-
rent from your battery.
As with any permanent
connection to a battery,
safely clean the connec-
tions on a periodic basis
or as needed.
