UPGRADES
The EnviroVent2 Rolling Stand Adapter Kit allows you to install your EnviroVent 2 and still be able to
roll your kiln short distances without having to readjust the spring loaded collection cup. This is made
possible by inserting a bracket into the frame of the stand. The spring loaded collection cup achieves the
compression it needs to keep a tight seal with the bottom of the bracket instead of the floor so it is able to
travel with the kiln.
1. Unplug your kiln from the wall. If your kiln is direct wired, turn the breaker or disconnect
switch to the off position.
2. Follow the instructions in your manual for disassembling your kiln to remove it from the stand.
If this is a new kiln, you will not be using the standard stand that comes with the kiln.
3. Assemble the Rolling Stand Adapter as pictured in Photo A using your existing collection cup.
Make sure the bottom nut is flush with the end of the bolt so you get the maximum compression
possible. Once the bottom nut is in position, tighten the nut on the other side of the bracket.
4. Place assembled Adapter into your rolling stand in the exact center as pictured in Photo B. Some
of the stands have different spacing between the crossbars. It is okay if the flanges overlap as
they do in Photo B. The weight of the kiln will keep it in place.
5. Place the bottom slab of the kiln onto the stand making sure the holes drilled in the slab line up
within the inner diameter of the collection cup (Photo C).
6. Follow the instructions in the manual for reassembling the kiln, roll it to the desired position in
the room and lock in the casters (Photo D).
7. Attach your ducting to the collection cup and perform a flame test to make sure the cup is
aligned properly (see EnviroVent2 Manual).
