INSTRUCTIONS

1. Block the rear tires of the vehicle so that the vehicle is stable and can’t roll.

2. Remove the front end links from the stock front sway bar and the frame mount. The end

links and all hardware may be discarded.

3.

1994-1997: Install the rod end into the sway bar. You will need to turn the rod end into
the sway bar like you are threading in a bolt. You may need to clean the hole up in the
sway bar by running a 1/2” drill through it or by using a die grinder. Turn the rod end in to

the sway bar until it is completely bottomed out. Then, holding the rod end horizontal with
an adjustable wrench turn on and fully tighten the 1/2” lock nut.

1998-2002: Install the rod end in to the frame mount. You will need to turn the rod end
into the mount like you are threading in a bolt. Turn the rod end in to the mount until it is

completely bottomed out. Then, holding the rod end horizontal with an adjustable wrench
turn on and fully tighten the 1/2” lock nut. This works fine on trucks with or without the

tapered frame holes. If you have tapered frame holes the rod end will self center and seat
squarely when you fully tighten the nut.

4. Connect the other end using the polyurethane bushings just like the factory set up. Make

hand tight only at this time.

5. Repeat on the other side of the vehicle.
6. With your suspension loaded and at ride height tighten the poly bushed end of both end

links. You want to tighten them until you see the bushings starting to deform and then stop
tightening.

7. Installation is complete.
