INSTRUCTIONS

1. Safely lift the front of your truck and support the frame with jack stands. Place a jack

stand on the driver and passenger side.

2. Your front lower control arm's factory front mount on the front axle has a flat strap running

underneath it. This strap has two holes in it from the factory. Place our skid plate's spacer

flat bar that is welded to the skid plate against the underside of the factory mount and bolt
it in place using the supplied 5/16” bolts and lock nuts. The bolt heads should face down

and the nuts are on the top.

3. Some newer model trucks do not have the two holes in the factory mount. For these trucks

you will need to hold the skid plate in place and mark the two holes and then drill two
5/16” holes through the factory front lower control arm mounting strap.

Note: We have included two 90 degree 1/4”-28 thread grease fittings to install on the front end of
your front lower control arms. If you have aftermarket front lower control arms with straight

grease fittings installed you may not be able to access them after installing the skid plates. In
these cases you can swap out your straight grease fittings with these supplied 90 degree grease

fittings.
