INSTRUCTIONS

1.

Lift the front of the vehicle and place jack stands under the frame and remove the front wheels.

2.

It is best to remove and re-install one control arm at a time.

3.

The front control arm bolt is a cam bolt and washer. Make a mark on the truck so you can line up the cam washer
when re-installing.

4.

Remove the bolts from each end of the control arm and remove the control arm. It is VERY common that the front
bolt will be rusted fast to the bolt sleeve inside the of the bushing in the stock control arm. In most cases the

front bolt will need to be cut or burned off for removal.

5.

Grease the outside face of the poly bushings. Clean the inside of the truck's mounting brackets and apply grease.

6.

Install the Spohn control arm, use the OEM bolt and nut in the rear and the supplied bolt, cam washer and nut in
the front.

7.

Tighten all bolts. Repeat on the other side of the truck to install the other control arm.

8.

You should get a front end alignment as soon as possible.

Note: The poly bushings come pre-lubed. DO NOT use petroleum-based grease on your poly bushings! Poly bushings must
be lubricated with synthetic silicone based waterproof grease. These are the manufacturer’s recommendations to prevent

pre-mature bushing wear, and will keep things "squeak-free". You can order this grease from Spohn Performance using our
Part #902.

Do not over grease the bushings! You only need a couple pumps of grease. Over greasing will cause the bushings to

balloon from the hydraulic pressure inside of the sleeve and they will fail.
