Setting the Timer

< Adjust the clock before setting the timer.

< When no action is taken for 1 minute, the timer setting mode will

be cancelled.

Press the TIME SET button repeatedly until “On time” is

displayed.

“On time” appears on the display, and the “hour” value blinks.

Press the ˙ or ¥ button to set the hour value, and press

the ENTER button.

The “minute” value blinks.

Press the ˙ or ¥ button to set the minute value, and press

the TIME SET button.
“Off time” appears on the display, and the “hour” value blinks.

Repeat step

to set the Off time.

“Source select” appears on the display.

Press the ˙ or ¥ button to select the source, and press

the ENTER button.
Now the timer setting is stored in memory.

Timer Operation

Every time you press the TIMER button on the remote control
unit, the timer mode changes as follows.

Timer off

Timer daily

Timer REC once

Timer REC daily

Timer Playback

Select “Timer daily” by pressing the TIMER button on the

remote control unit.
The timer indicator “ ” lights on the display.

Prepare for the timer playback.

Adjust the volume, tune in a station, etc.

Press the STANDBY/ON button on the remote control unit

to place the unit in standby.
Everyday when the On time is reached, the unit will turn on and
start playback, and when the Off time is reached the unit will
return to standby.

< Do not turn off the unit by pressing the POWER button on the

main unit. The timer does not work when the On time is reached.
