Preset Volume Levels
Preset volume levels for handset and headset operation may be set to
match a particular headset’s transmission characteristics, or provide
higher preset volume levels for hearing impaired users. Preset
speakerphone volume level is set when the volume is changed during a
call, and is not changed between calls.
The telephone is reset to preset volume levels whenever a call is
originated or answered. Receiver volume levels set with the Vol keys
are used only for the duration of a call.
This option sets preset volume levels for the current mode, handset or
headset. Separate preset receive levels are stored for handset and
headset modes. Transmit volume level is not adjustable for the
handset.
