Installation of the TS Performance MP-8
3.0L Jeep Grand Cherokee
Read all instructions and fully understand them before installing you TS Performance MP-8 module.
Disconnect the battery terminals and remove keys from ignition before installation.
1. Remove the plastic engine cover. To do this you will need to remove the oil filler
cap and pull up on the front of the cover and pull it forward to clear the firewall.
2. Locate the fuel rail on the passenger side of the engine. It runs along the length of
the engine from front to back. The Fuel Pressure connector is located on the back
of the fuel rail. It should be a 3-Pin connector that looks like the connector on
our supplied harness.
3. Disconnect the factory wire harness and plug our supplied harness into the factory
harness and the sensor.
4. Now you will need to mount the module in a location away from moving parts.
We recommend the Fuse and Relay Center on the passenger driver’s side of the
engine compartment in front of the battery with the Velcro supplied.
5. Once you have the module mounted you will need to replace the plastic engine
cover. Slid the cover under the metal cross bar and press it down into place. The
cover will snap onto its mounts. Then replace the factory oil filler cap.
