Bosch Common Rail Fuel Plug
1. Locate the fuel relief valve (#7 in the picture below)
2. To remove fuel plug from rail you will first need to remove the return fuel line
from the back of the relief valve. Next you can loosen and remove the relief valve
from the fuel rail.
3. Install the new Fuel plug into the fuel rail in the spot where the factory relief valve
was removed and tighten to around 50 ft lbs.
4. Connect the factory relief valve to the return line and tighten. This will keep fuel
from leaking out of the return line and needs to be connected to the return line.
