and BlueRay™ stations, we offer VeloxPro™, which maximizes
your throughput by automating prober control of wafer handling,
alignment, temperature control, Z-profiling and stepping. VeloxPro
test automation software is a SEMI E95 compliant user interface.
VeloxPro connects the dots providing the user a “guided” flow
through the operation of the probe system. This helps inexperienced
users or in production-like environments where the test sequence
can be set up by an engineer and the operator is only required to
start the test with a push of a button.
VeloxPro can be configured as a master
or the slave in a prober/test executive
setup. In a slave configuration it receives
stepping commands through either
GPIB, LAN or RS232 interfaces. As the
master, VeloxPro controls wafer stepping
and triggers the test executive to test a
particular die. This communication is
managed through the tester interface
and basically requires the test executive
software only to wait for the trigger, run
the measurement and return an end of test signal when the prober
is requested to step to the next site.

Velox incorporates numerous additions and enhancements
to our previous system software that accelerate your
time to accurate data. For the ultimate in sub-die
navigation, eVue™ now presents multiple images
of the surface area under test: full-die reference,
live sub-die and digitally zoomed sub-die.
An interconnection with WaferPro Express from Keysight
Technologies allows synchronization of wafer maps and
sub-die information, which delivers automated measurements.
Plus - Velox accepts legacy SCPI and SCI commands to put your
probe station under the test executive of your choice via GPIB,
TCP/IP or RS232.
The time to upgrade? Right Now
The end of support announcement for support of Windows XP
has already come and gone. As of April 2014, Microsoft’s support
and updating for XP came to an end. At about the same time, we
halted further development and enhancements to Nucleus and
ProberBench although support for these systems continues for
another seven years.
Given these developments, and given the new level of power and
productivity contained in Velox, it makes sense to move ahead
