Power Module Overview
Adopting advanced power module design, the H3C S5800-60C-PWR Ethernet switch features the
following:
z Adopting hot swappable power module design, each switch providing two hot swappable power
module slots, as shown in Figure 1-1 .
z Supporting different models of hot swappable power modules. For details, see Table 1-1 .
z Supporting combination of different hot swappable power modules. Users can select them as
needed. For details, see Table 2-1 .

(1) Hot swappable power
module 1 (2) Filler module (Remove the module when hot swappable power module 1
is a 750 W power module.)
(3) Hot swappable power
module 2 (4) Filler module (Remove the module when hot swappable power module 2
is a 750 W power module.)
The S5800-60C-PWR provides two power module slots on its rear panel. Hot swappable power
module slot 1 is empty when the switch is shipped, and hot swappable power module slot 2 is installed
with a filler panel. Figure 1-1 illustrates a switch with two PSR300-12A AC power modules.
