Searching media assets
3. In the Field to filter drop-down list, select the field that contains the information on
which you are basing your search.
4. In the Comparison drop-down list, select the type of search you want to do on the
information in the selected field. You can select the following types of searches:
• Contains
• Ends with
• Equal to
• Starts with
5. In the Value field, enter the text on which you are basing your search.
6. If you want to display a list of all assets that do NOT match the search criteria
currently configured, select the “Invert this logic…” option.
7. Click
Add Filter
. The Add/Update Search Filter dialog box closes and filter appears
in the list of filter on the Search dialog box.
8. In the Search dialog box, click
Search Now
. A list of media assets that match the
search criteria are displayed.
9. You can repeat this procedure to create and add one or more additional filters.
When you do so, the search executed is based on the combined search parameters
of all filters currently added.
You can drag and drop from the search dialog box to the right or left panes of the
MediaFrame network view to initiate a transfer copy operation.
Modifying a search filter
To change or remove an existing filter, do the following:
1. Click the
Search
button or click
File | Search
. The Search dialog box opens.
2. In the list of filters, click the filter that you want to change or remove. The Add/
Update Search Filter dialog box opens.
