IMPORTANT: This is a supplement to your owner’s manual. This information should remain with your own-
er’s manual at all times.
Some 2002 Sportsman 700 ATVs were produced without
an oil pressure switch as standard equipment.
If your model has this switch, it will be located on the LH side
of the engine next to the oil filler tube. It is not to be confused
with the engine temperature switch that is located on the
same side but higher up on the engine.
If the oil pressure switch is not installed on your engine, the
oil pressure warning is not active and the diagnostic mode
feature is not valid.

CAUTION
Do not wash the instrument cluster with a high pressure washer. Water under high pressure may enter the instru-
ment cluster and cause damage to the electronic components. Wash the unit by hand or with a garden hose
using mild soap. Do not use alcohol to clean the instrument cluster. Do not allow gasoline to remain on the instru-
ment cluster.
