Removal And Installation Of Bristles
Removal
Check the shear bolt (Item 1). If the shear bolt is loose, tighten
the shear bolt to 60 ft-lb (81 Nm) torque.
When removing the left side bristles, check the gearbox oil level.
Remove the fill plug (Item 2) and make sure the oil level is at the
bottom of the fill port.
If the oil level is low, check the gearbox for leaks or damage. If a
leak or damage is found, the gearbox will need to be repaired.

If fluid level is low, add fluid. See page 34.
Installation
Install two concave bristles (Item 3) so that the bristles cover the
gearbox (as shown).
