SS1003 Assembly Instructions
The Keel Guide Roller Riser Kit should be used only when
it is required to raise the front roller system. Install the
SS1003 riser on the rear of the front roller cradle only
when required.
Note: Only one (1) SS1003 is necessary on most applica-
tions where a riser is required. It is possible to install a
SS1003 on both ends of the front roller cradle. However,
this type of installation should be sued with very rounded
keels. Raising the front roller cradles too high will effect the
centering the boat as is it is loaded.
Remove the rear roller section of the front roller cradle.
Install the SS1003 riser channel (as shown) to the cradle
with the two (2) 3/8” X 1” hex bolts and 3/8” flange lock
nuts supplied. Reinstall the rear roller section just removed
to the top of the SS1003 riser channel. Tighten all nuts and
bolts. Assembly is complete.
Remove the cushion bracket assemblies on the
crossmember. Mount the front cross cushion riser and
cushion bracket to the crossmember using a 3/8” X 4-1/2”
carriage bolt. Remount the assemblies and secure with 3/
8” flange lock nuts.
