SS1066 Assembly Instructions
Place one tri-toon support tube weldment (Ref.#16) on rear
of trailer just ahead of rear crossmember using 1/2” X 5-9/
16” X 4” SUB’s (Ref.#9) and secure with 1/2” flange lock
nuts (Ref.#4).
Place the second tri-toon support tube weldment (Ref.#16)
approximately 90” forward from rear crossmember just
installed (see drawing for approximate placement). Leave
1/2” X 5-9/16” X 4” SUB’s (Ref.#9) loose until bunks
(Ref.#15) are in place and positioned properly.
Mount hull stabilizers (Ref.#13) to support tubes using 1/2”
X 3-9.16” X 4-1/4” SUB’s (Ref.#8) and secure with 1/2”
medium lock washers (Ref.#11) and 1/2” hex nuts
(Ref.#12). Mount bunk brackets (Ref.#6) to hull stabilizers
and tighten using 3/8” X 1” hex bolts (Ref.#7) and secure
with 3/8” flange lock nuts (Ref.#3).
Measure 22” in from rear of each 2X6X13’ bunks (Ref.#15)
and secure to bunk brackets (Ref.#6) using #10-12 X 1-3/
4” phil flat screws (Ref.#10).
Adjust front support tube as needed before tightening nuts
and securing front of the bunks to bunk brackets (Ref.#6).
After assembly is complete adjust bunks up or down, or
side to side as needed to fit your tri-toon.
Remove black plastic pad from winch post extensions.
Mount the spacer tubes (Ref.#24) onto winch post exten-
sions using two 3/8” X 1” hex bolts (Ref.#7) in top and
bottom holes. Place the black plastic pad onto the spacer
tubes and secure with a 3/8” X 3-3/4” carriage bolts
(Ref.#23) and 3/8” flange lock nuts.
Refer to parts drawing for proper placement.
