Final Assembly Instructions

Remove the small parts from the frame by cutting the

bands. Remove the bolt bag and sort all the nuts and bolts

by size.

Springs:

Mount the springs under the axle with the 1/2” X 6-1/2”

axle u-bolts from the top down. Install the spring plate

under the axle. Tighten with 1/2” flange lock nuts evenly.

Fenders:

Install the fenders and spring bracket assembly to the side

frame using 1/2” u-bolts (Ref.#12) in the area that would

best provide the proper tongue weight.

Rocker Arm:

Align center hole of 6239210, rocker arm, with the center

hole of the spring bracket. Secure with 3/4” X 4-1/2” hex

bolt from the outside-in. Tighten with a 3/4” hex lock nut.

Axle:

Make certain hook end of the springs point in the same

direction to the rear of the trailer - on both axles! Place one

of the spring bushings (Ref.#66) into the rear of the spring

bracket and secure with a 9/16” X 3-1/4” hex bolt and 9/16”

hex lock nut. Repeat on the other side. Position the axle

under the frame, then hook the spring loop around the

bushing just installed. Raise the axle assembly up so the

front of the springs line up with the front spring bracket

hole. Insert the other two (2) 9/16” X 3-1/4” hex bolts and

9/16” hex lock nuts. Tighten all nuts and bolts but do not

over tighten. Allow the spring room enough to move.

Mount the tire and rim assemblies using 80-90 ft. lbs. of

torque on the lug nuts using a proper tightening procedure.

Tongue:

Install the 9’ tongue wire and grommet in the tongue.

Install the tongue into the nose cone of the trailer frame.

Secure the tongue plate cover (Ref.#4) and the rear of the

tongue with a 1/2” X 1-1/2” hex bolt, 1/2” flat washer and

1/2” hex lock nut. Secure the tongue into the side of the

frame tongue cap using a 1/2” X 4” hex bolt and 1/2” flange

lock nut. Tighten both bolts. Install the coupler on the

tongue and secure with one (1) 1/2” X 4” and two (2) 1/2” X

1” hex bolts. Tighten using 1/2” flange lock nuts. Do not

overtighten.

Actuator & Safety Chain:

Slide the actuator (Ref.#107) into the actuator housing

unit (Ref.#105) and secure with two (2) pins and snap

rings provided with the actuator. Secure the actuator -
