Installation Manual

10.2 Maintenance Schedule

10.2.1 Notes on the Maintenance Work

Compliance with the specified maintenance intervals will ensure trouble-free operation of the

Transformer Compact Station.

Maintenance work on the high-voltage transformer must be performed according to the documentation of the

high-voltage transformer.

10.2.2 Monthly Maintenance Work

10.2.3 Maintenance Work Every 6 Months

10.3 General Maintenance

10.3.1 Optical Inspection

1. Check the Transformer Compact Station for visual defects such as discoloration, dirt, damage and scratches on the

enclosure. If visual defects are present, repair these immediately.

2. Make sure that the protective covers are in place and undamaged. Clean soiled protective covers and eliminate any

defects immediately.

3. Ensure that there are no objects on or in the Transformer Compact Station that are flammable or that could otherwise

endanger the operational safety of the Transformer Compact Station.

4. Make sure that the enclosure openings are protected from penetration by foreign bodies (e.g., animals or leaves).

If the enclosure openings are not adequately sealed, renew the sealing material.

Adverse ambient conditions
Location and ambient conditions influence the maintenance intervals. In particular, cleaning and corrosion protection

work may be required more frequently depending on the conditions at the installation site.

• If the PV power plant is subject to adverse ambient conditions, it is recommended to shorten the maintenance

intervals.

Consumables and maintenance materials
This document only lists those consumables and maintenance materials that are not part of the standard equipment

of an electrically qualified person. Standard tools and materials such as torque wrenches, voltage detectors and

wrenches are required equipment for all maintenance operations.
