The SMA Power Balancer is deactivated (default setting).
– If one of the inverters displays a device fault or a mains voltage fault, only the affected
inverter disconnects from the electricity grid and the other two inverters continue to feed in
at full power.
• PowerGuard
This setting can be selected if the entire PV plant only consists of three Sunny Mini Central
inverters and in the event of a malfunction, the unbalanced load should be limited to 4.6 kVA
over a 10-minute average.
– If one of the three inverters indicates a mains voltage fault or device fault and stops
feeding in, the other two inverters automatically limit their power over a 10 minute average
to 4.6 kVA.

The unbalanced load for SMC 6000A-11 inverters set to the national standard CEI 0-21
is limited to 6 kVA over a 10-minute average.
