4. FUNCTION OVERVIEW

DRIVE (1) – adjusts the amount of distortion.

LEVEL (2) - controls the overall effect volume, so you can match the distortion level to the clean volume when switching the
effect on and off.

TONE (3) - controls amount of high frequency contour.

ON/OFF SWITCH* (4) – turns the effect on and off; the LED indicator illuminates when the effect is on.

*TRUE BYPASS - When the pedal’s controls are ‘off’, your signal goes directly from the input jack to the output jack without any
degradation of audio quality.

5. CONNECTIONS

1/4” INPUT JACK (5) - (CONNECTS TO YOUR INSTRUMENT) As with any pedal, make sure your amp is off and the volume is
turned down before making connections.

1/4” OUTPUT JACK (6) (CONNECTS TO YOUR AMPLIFIER)

DC IN (7) - External power supply connection (9-12V DC PSU).

STANDARD 9V BATTERY COMPARTMENT (8) - Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws to access the 9V battery
compartment on the bottom side of the pedal.
